ANDREW NADLER NAMED ASSISTANT MEN’S LACROSSE COACH AT MORAVIAN
BETHLEHEM, PA --- Moravian College has named Andrew Nadler assistant
men’s lacrosse coach and assistant to the director of intramurals, effective immediately.
Nadler is a 2003 graduate of Susquehanna University and was a two-time
All-Middle Atlantic Conference selection (a First Team midfielder in 2003 and on the Second
Team in 2002), a three-time captain and four-time Most Valuable Player on the lacrosse
field for the Crusaders. Nadler also played defensive back and kicked
for the Susquehanna football team. During his four years on the gridiron, Nadler established
a career record for extra-points, and he was named the Crusaders Special Teams Player of
the Year in 2002.
“I am really excited to have this energetic, enthusiastic young man join with us
to help build the Greyhound men’s lacrosse program,” stated Moravian head coach Fran
Meagher. “To have Andy, who accomplished what he did in a new program in
our league, bring his can-do spirit to our aspiring players is outstanding.”
Nadler is a native of Westport, Connecticut, and he graduated from Susquehanna
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Information
Systems.
Moravian will began its first season of varsity men’s lacrosse in the spring of
2004. The Greyhounds are slated to begin their debut season on Wednesday, March 10th in
a match against Norwich (CT) University that will be played in Sanford, Florida.
