GAUN RANKED NATIONALLY IN SAVES
GLEN ALLEN, VA --- Moravian College freshman goalie Amanda Gaun (Hatboro, PA/Hatboro-Horsham
HS) is ranked seventh in the nation among NCAA Division III field hockey goalies
in the most recent national statistics released by the National Field Hockey Coaches
Association released Tuesday.
Gaun had made 152 saves in the Greyhounds first 15 matches of the season.
She added 14 more stops in a 2-0 loss to Delaware Valley College on Tuesday. Gaun has
a 2.57 goals-against average and two shutouts in her debut season at Moravian, and she
has played all 1,1,46 minutes for the Greyhounds this fall.
Moravian is 4-12 overall and will return to action on Saturday, October 25th in a Commonwealth
Conference match at Elizabethtown College beginning at 11:00 a.m.
