MORAVIAN WOMEN’S SOCCER MOVES UP TO 8TH IN MID-ATLANTIC REGION BY NSCAA

MISSION, KS --- The Moravian College women’s soccer team has moved up two spots to eighth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III Women’s Soccer Regional Poll released Monday.

The rankings are based on records through October 26th. The University of Scranton holds down the top spot in the region, and the Royals are ranked sixth in the nation. Messiah College is second in the region and 14th nationally while Montclair State (NJ) University is third in the region and 20th in the nation. The College of New Jersey is ranked fourth in the region and 22nd in the country while Muhlenberg College and Lebanon Valley College are tied for fifth in the region and both schools received votes nationally. Rounding out the regional rankings are Gettysburg College in seventh, Moravian, Rutgers University-Camden in ninth and Eastern University in tenth.

The Greyhounds, who have a record of 9-2-3 overall, will play Muhlenberg on Wednesday, October 29th in a non-conference match at 3:00 p.m. Moravian has already tied Lebanon Valley, 0-0, this season and dropped a 3-0 decision to Messiah and a 2-0 match to Scranton.
