GREYHOUND VOLLEYBALL SQUAD DROPS TO 8TH IN MID-ATLANTIC REGION
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s volleyball team has dropped two
spots to eighth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the third NCAA Division III Regional poll
of the year released Wednesday.
The Greyhounds, who are 21-8 overall, have an 18-7 in-region record, which the poll is
based on. Juniata College holds down the top spot in the region followed by Eastern University,
Gettysburg College, Lycoming College, Frostburg State University, Salisbury University,
Lebanon Valley College and Moravian.
The Greyhounds have dropped 3-1 contests to Lebanon Valley and Salisbury, a 3-0 match
to Juniata and 3-0 and 3-2 matches to Eastern. Moravian has defeated Frostburg State, 3-0
this fall.
Moravian will travel to the Bridgewater State (MA) College Halloween Classic on Friday,
October 31st and Saturday, November 1st to close out the regular season. The Greyhounds
will be at Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday, November 5th in a Commonwealth Conference
Semifinal match beginning at 7:00 p.m. That match will be Moravian's eight straight appearance
in the postseason.
