MORAVIAN WOMEN’S SOCCER SQUAD RANKED IN LATEST NCAA STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s soccer team was ranked 24th in the nation in shutout percentage in the latest NCAA Division III women’s soccer statistics.

The Greyhounds had a shutout percentage of 0.59 (ten shutouts in 17 matches) heading into last week’s 2003 Eastern College Athletic Conference Mid-Atlantic Championships. Moravian finished the season with 11 shutouts in 20 matches, a 0.55 percentage, after the tournament, which included a 1-0 shutout of Commonwealth Conference rival Lebanon Valley College in the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Semifinals.

The Greyhounds finished the 2003 season with a 12-4-4 record and a 5-1-1 slate in the Commonwealth Conference. Moravian played in both the Commonwealth Conference and ECAC Mid-Atlantic Tournaments in the post season.
