MORAVIAN COLLEGE WOMEN’S LACROSSE TEAM AND SOPHOMORE JESS
CORDANI RANKED IN NCAA STATS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Sophomore midfielder Jess Cordani (Point Pleasant, NJ/Point
Pleasant Boro HS) of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse team is ranked
among the nation’s leaders as are the Greyhounds as a team in the second NCAA Division
III statistics ranking of the season released Wednesday.
Cordani is second in the nation in caused turnovers with an average
of 6.0 per match, and she is tenth in draw controls with an average of 4.0 per contest.
Moravian, which has an overall record of 1-2 in its second season as an NCAA program,
is seventh in the nation in caused turnovers with an average of 17.33 caused turnovers
each match.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Thursday, March 25th in a Middle Atlantic
Conference match at the University of Scranton at 4:00 p.m.
