MORAVIAN’S TOEDTER NAMED COMMONWEALTH MEN’S TENNIS
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANNVILLE, PA --- Senior Jason Toedter (Easton, PA/Easton HS) of the
Moravian College men’s tennis squad has been named the Commonwealth Conference of
the Week for his performance last week.
Toedter, Moravian’s top singles player, helped the Greyhounds
post a 3-1 record last week. Toedter won all four of his singles matches to improve his
season record to 12-4 and his career mark to 49-18. With just one more singles victory, Toedter will
tie the Moravian career mark of 50 singles wins. Toedter was 3-1 at second
doubles last week with partner sophomore Nick Schuett (Oviedo, FL/Oviedo HS).
Moravian is 8-5 overall and will play its final dual match of the season on Wednesday,
April 21st at DeSales University beginning at 4:00 p.m. Moravian and DeSales will co-host
the 2004 Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Corporation Individual Championships
on Saturday and Sunday, April 24th and 25th.
