MORAVIAN COLLEGE ANNOUNCES PARTICIPATION IN NCAA BASKETBALL’S
TAKE A KID TO THE GAME PROGRAM
Community Encouraged to Bring a Youngster to the January 26th
Women’s Basketball Game
BETHLEHEM, PA --- Area youngsters will have an opportunity to experience the college game-day
atmosphere when the Moravian College women's basketball team hosts NCAA Basketball’s
annual Take a Kid to the Game (TAKG) program Monday, January 26, 2004.
Kids, ages 13 and younger, will receive a free ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket,
to watch the Greyhound women take on arch rival Muhlenberg College at Johnston Hall on
the campus of Moravian College at 7:00 p.m.
Moravian College is one of more than 500 institutions across the nation that are participating
in this campaign focused on attracting more of the nation’s youth to college games.
The Take a Kid to the Game program is entering its ninth year in the promotion of NCAA
Athletics.
Doors will open at 6:15 pm. There will be giveaways for all kids attending.
