MORAVIAN WOMEN’S SOCCER FALLS TO 10TH IN
MID-ATLANTIC REGION BY NSCAA

MISSION, KS --- The Moravian College women’s soccer team has dropped five spots to tenth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the third National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III Women’s Soccer Regional Poll of the 2004 season released Tuesday.

The rankings are based on records through September 19th. Messiah College holds down the top spot followed by The College of New Jersey, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Scranton. The top three four are ranked in the NSCAA/adidas Top 25 poll. The remainder of the top ten is Haverford College, Gettysburg College, Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Muhlenberg College, Susquehanna University and the Greyhounds.

Moravian has a match scheduled with Messiah on September 25th, and the Greyhounds lost to Haverford, 3-2, and Susquehanna, 2-1, last week.

The Greyhounds, who are 4-2-1 overall, are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, September 22nd in a non-conference match versus Ursinus College at 4:00 p.m. on the HUB Quad.
