GREYHOUND FOOTBALL TEAM RECEIVES VOTES IN D3FOOTBALL.COM
AND AFCA TOP 25 POLLS

BETHLEHEM, PA --- The Moravian College football team, which has a 5-0 record this fall for the first time since 1940, received votes in both the D3football.com and the American Football Coaches Association Division III Coaches’ Top 25 polls this week.

In the D3football.com poll, the Greyhounds received 32 points and are listed fourth of the 25 teams after the ranked top 25 that received votes. Middle Atlantic Conference rival Delaware Valley College, the one MAC team Moravian doesn’t play this season and the only other undefeated team in the conference, is ranked 21st in the poll. Moravian has six points in the AFCA Poll, which ties the Greyhounds with Wartburg (IA) College. The AFCA poll has 22 teams receiving votes after the top 25 ranked teams, and Delaware Valley is 23rd in the poll. The complete poll can be found at http://www.afca.com/lev3.cfm/1084.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 16th in an MAC game versus FDU-Florham at Steel Field beginning at 1:00 p.m.
