GREYHOUND FOOTBALL TEAM RECEIVES VOTES IN D3FOOTBALL.COM
AND AFCA TOP 25 POLLS

BETHLEHEM, PA --- The Moravian College football team, which has a 6-0 record this fall for the first time since 1940, received votes in both the D3football.com and the American Football Coaches Association Division III Coaches’ Top 25 polls again this week.

In the D3football.com poll, the Greyhounds received 48 points and are listed second of the 2q teams after the ranked top 25 that received votes. Middle Atlantic Conference rival Delaware Valley College, the one MAC team Moravian doesn’t play this season and the only other undefeated team in the conference, is ranked 19th in the poll. Moravian has 62 points in the AFCA Poll, which is the spot right outside the top 25. The AFCA poll has 23 teams receiving votes after the top 25 ranked teams, and Delaware Valley is 16th in the poll. The complete poll can be found at http://www.afca.com/lev3.cfm/1084.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 23rd in an MAC game at Lycoming College’s David Person Field in Williamsport beginning at 1:00 p.m.
