GREYHOUNDS RANKED 2ND IN FIRST NCAA REGIONAL POLL OF 2005 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College softball team is ranked second in the East
Region in the first NCAA Division III Regional Rankings released Thursday.
The Greyhounds, who have an in-region record of 16-1, which is what the poll is mainly
based one, were just behind the University of Rutgers-Camden in the region. Rounding out
the top eight were King’s College, Rowan University, La Roche College, Lebanon Valley
College, The College of New Jersey and Bethany (WV) College.
The Greyhounds, who are 22-3 overall and ranked ninth in the nation in the latest National
Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Poll, are slated to return to action
on Thursday, April 14th in a non-conference doubleheader versus Delaware Valley College
in Bethlehem beginning at 3:00 p.m.
