MORAVIAN’S DANIEL LARSON NAMED MIDDLE ATLANTIC CONFERENCE
MEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANNVILLE, PA --- Sophomore attack Daniel Larson (Dover, DE/Dover HS) of
the Moravian College men’s lacrosse team has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference
Player of the Week for his performance last week.
Larson helped Moravian to a 1-2 record last week including the team’s
first-ever win in Middle Atlantic Conference action. Larson finished the
week with 16 points on 12 goals and four assists while scooping up nine ground balls. Larson had
five goals and an assist in a 15-14 loss at DeSales University to open the week before
scoring half of Moravian’s goals in an 18-8 non-conference loss to York (PA) College. Larson finished
the week with three goals including the game-winner and three assists in the Greyhounds’ 15-11
win at the University of Scranton. Moravian is in its second season of varsity lacrosse,
and the win at Scranton was the first in MAC action for the Greyhounds.
Moravian, which is 4-9 overall and 1-5 in the MAC, is slated to return to action on Wednesday,
April 20th in an MAC match versus Widener University at Moravian’s Academy’s
North Campus beginning at 4:00 p.m.
