JUNIOR MEAGAN HENNESSY & MORAVIAN SOFTBALL SQUAD RANKED IN THIRD NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE OF 2005 SEASON

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College softball team is ranked nationally in three statistical categories and junior pitcher Meagan Hennessy (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Township HS) is ranked in three categories as well in the third NCAA Division III statistics ranking of the season released Tuesday.

Hennessy is tied for fourth in victories with 21, 13th in earned run average at 0.52 and 28th in strikeouts per seven innings with an average of 8.2.

Moravian is fourth in the country in fielding percentage at .975, sixth in earned run average at 0.74 and tied for 17th in won-loss percentage at .818.

The Greyhounds, who are 29-6 overall and 11-1 in the Commonwealth Conference, are slated to close out their 2005 regular season on Saturday, April 30th in a Commonwealth Conference doubleheader versus Widener University at Blue & Grey Field in Bethlehem beginning at 1:00 p.m.
