MORAVIAN SOPHOMORE CLINT QUEDENFELD RANKED IN LATEST NCAA MEN’S
LACROSSE STATISTICS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Sophomore attack Clint Quedenfeld (Chalfont, PA/Central
Bucks West HS) of the Moravian College men’s lacrosse team is ranked in
the top five in the country in a pair of statistical categories in the sixth NCAA Division
III statistics ranking of the season released Tuesday.
Quedenfeld is second in the country in assists per game with an average
of 4.33 assists per game, and he is fourth in the nation in points per game with an average
of 5.47 points per contest. Quedenfeld also has the highest single game
point total (14 points versus Clark (MA) University on March 9th) and the highest single
match assist total (13 against Clark) among Division III student-athletes for matches played
through April 24th. Quedenfeld also has the second and third highest single
match assist totals this season with ten at Neumann College on April 6th and seven at Alvernia
College on March 22nd. Quedenfeld also is tied for third with the single
game points with 11 at Neumann.
Sophomore attack Nick Cacciutti (Media, PA/The Haverford School) has
the highest single match goal total (10 against Clark) and is tied for third in single
game point total (11 versus Clark).
Moravian has an overall record of 6-10 with a 3-6 mark in Middle Atlantic Conference
action in its second season as a varsity program, and the Greyhounds are scheduled to close
out their 2005 season on Saturday, April 30th in an MAC match versus Messiah College at
Lehigh University’s Ulrich Turf Field on the Goodman Campus beginning at 3:00 p.m.
