MORAVIAN’S BRYAN OTT & DUSTIN MCCORMICK NAMED TO ALL-CONFERENCE
FIRST TEAM; OTT NAMED ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
ANNVILLE, PA --- Freshman Bryan Ott (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall HS) and
junior Dustin McCormick (East Stroudsburg, PA/East Stroudsburg HS) of
the Moravian College golf team have been named to the All-Conference First Team announced
Sunday on the second day of the 2005 Commonwealth Conference Championship at the Hershey
Country Club.
Both players earned First Team honors with finishes in the top five of the 2005 Commonwealth
Conference Championship Tournament. Ott, who also earned Rookie of the
Year honors, was tied for first after 36 holes with Ryan Ogurcak, the Commonwealth Player
of the Year, however, Ott lost medalist honors of the first playoff hole. Ott finished
second in the 35-man tournament with a two-day score of 157 with a 78 on the second day
of competition while McCormick was fourth at 157 after leading the tournament
after a first round of 76.
Moravian completed its 2005 season with a 1-1 record. The Greyhounds won six tournaments
and were second three times and third three times in 15 tournaments and two dual matches.
