JUNIORS MEAGAN HENNESSY & RICHELLE McWILLIAMS & MORAVIAN SOFTBALL SQUAD RANKED IN FIFTH NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE OF 2005 SEASON

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College softball team is ranked nationally in three statistical categories while junior pitcher Meagan Hennessy (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Township HS) is ranked in three categories and junior designated player Richelle McWilliams (Riegelsville, PA/Easton HS) is ranked once in the fifth NCAA Division III statistics ranking of the season released Tuesday.

Hennessy is tied for second in victories with 27, seventh in earned run average at 0.48 and tied for 14th in saves with three.

McWilliams is tied fir 21st in home runs with an average of 0.23 per game having hit nine homers in 39 games.

Moravian is fourth in earned run average at 0.68, 13th in the country in fielding percentage at .970 and 11th in won-loss percentage at .850.

The Greyhounds, who are 34-6 overall and 13-1 in the Commonwealth Conference, will return to action of Friday, May 13th as the second seed in the 2005 NCAA Division III Regional at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland. Moravian will play third-seeded Roanoke (VA) College at 12:00 p.m. in the second game of the tournament.
