MORAVIAN SOPHOMORE CLINT QUEDENFELD RANKED IN FINAL
NCAA DIVISION III MEN’S LACROSSE STATISTICS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Sophomore attack Clint Quedenfeld (Chalfont, PA/Central
Bucks West HS) of the Moravian College men’s lacrosse team is ranked in
the top ten in the country in a pair of statistical categories in the final NCAA Division
III statistics ranking of the 2005 season released recently by the NCAA.
Quedenfeld was second in the country in assists per game with an average
of 4.12 assists per game, and he was fifth in the nation in points per game with an average
of 5.18 points per contest. Quedenfeld also had the highest single game
point total (14 points versus Clark (MA) University on March 9th) and the highest single
match assist total (13 against Clark) among Division III student-athletes. Quedenfeld also
had the second and tied for fifth highest single match assist totals this season with ten
at Neumann College on April 6th and seven at Alvernia College on March 22nd. Quedenfeld also
was tied for third with the single game points with 11 at Neumann.
Sophomore attack Nick Cacciutti (Media, PA/The Haverford School) was
tied for the highest single match goal total (10 against Clark) and was tied for third
in single game point total (11 versus Clark).
Moravian finished the 2005 season with an overall record of 6-11 with a 3-7 mark in Middle
Atlantic Conference action in its second season as a varsity program.
