TWO GREYHOUNDS & TEAM RANKED IN FOURTH NCAA FOOTBALL STATISTICS RELEASE OF 2005 SEASON

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Two different players from the Moravian College football team are ranked in three categories in the fourth NCAA III Division football statistical ranking released Tuesday. The Greyhounds are also listed in two team categories in the statistics through games of October 1st.

Junior tailback Chris Jacoubs (Fair Haven, NJ/Rumson-Fair Haven Regional HS) is ranked 26th in the nation in rushing with an average of 130.2 yards per game, and Jacoubs is tied for 45th in scoring at 9.6 points per game. Senior linebacker Chad DiFelice (Pen Argyl, PA/Pen Argyl HS) is tied for 49th in tackles for loss with 1.8 per game.

As a team, Moravian is 38th in the country in rushing offense with an average of 216.2 yards per game, and the Greyhounds are 40th in kickoff returns at 22.12 yards per return.

The Greyhounds are 3-2 overall this season and in the Middle Atlantic Conference. Moravian, which is off this week, is scheduled to return to action at FDU-Florham in an MAC contest at Robert T. Shields Field on Saturday, October 15th at 1:00 p.m.
