THREE GREYHOUNDS & TEAM RANKED IN SEVENTH NCAA FOOTBALL STATISTICS RELEASE OF 2005 SEASON

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Three different players from the Moravian College football team are ranked in three categories in the seventh NCAA III Division football statistical ranking released Tuesday. The Greyhounds are also listed in two team categories in the statistics through games of October 22nd.

Senior linebacker Chad DiFelice (Pen Argyl, PA/Pen Argyl HS) leads the country in forced fumbles at 0.71 per contest and is tied for 48th in tackles for loss with 1.6 per game. Junior tailback Chris Jacoubs (Fair Haven, NJ/Rumson-Fair Haven Regional HS) is 26th in the nation in rushing with an average of 122.9 yards per game. Senior cornerback Tyler Chomik (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) is tied for 41st in passes defended at 1.4 per game.

As a team, Moravian is 40th in the country in rushing offense with an average of 208.4 yards per game, and the Greyhounds are 37th in kickoff returns at 21.84 yards per return and 32nd in net punting at 33.63 yards per punt.

The Greyhounds are 4-3 overall this season and in the Middle Atlantic Conference. Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 29th in an MAC game at Lycoming College kicking off at 1:00 p.m.
