MORAVIAN’S CAITLIN CORRIGAN NAMED COMMONWEALTH CONFERENCE
WOMEN’S SOCCER GOALIE OF THE WEEK
ANNVILLE, PA --- Freshman goalie Caitlin Corrigan (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge HS) of
the Moravian College women’s soccer team has been named the Commonwealth Conference
Goalie/Defender of the Week for her performance last week.
Corrigan had a pair of shutouts last week in a 2-1 week for the Greyhounds. Corrigan made
one save in a 2-0 victory overall rival Muhlenberg College for her third straight shutout
and eighth of the season. She followed two saves in a 2-1 loss to York College of Pennsylvania. Corrigan finished
the regular season with two saves in a 2-0 shutout of Susquehanna University to help clinch
the second seed for the Greyhounds in the Commonwealth Conference Tournament.
Corrigan, who has been named the Commonwealth Conference Goalie/Defender
of the week three times this season, has nine shutouts in her debut season for the Greyhounds.
The second seeded Greyhounds, who are 14-4-1 on the year, are slated to return to action
on Tuesday, November 1st in a Commonwealth Conference Semifinal match versus third seeded
Elizabethtown College beginning at 2:00 p.m. on the HUB Quad.
