MORAVIAN'S KEVIN LUKICH NAMED TO THE AFCA'S 2005 AZTEC BOWL SQUAD

WACO, TX --- Moravian College senior fullback Kevin Lukich has been selected to play for the American Football Coaches Association’s Division III all-star team that will represent the United States against the Mexican National Team in the 2005 Aztec Bowl on December 17 in Toluca, Mexico.

Lukich, a senior from Ogdensburg, N.J., was an All-Middle Atlantic Conference selection for the Greyhounds this season. He carried the ball 53 times for 311 yards and two touchdowns in 2005. Lukich helped Moravian to a 7-4 record this fall and the 2005 Eastern College Athletic Conference Southwest Bowl Championship.

Lukich is one of 46 NCAA Division III seniors from around the country who will make up this year’s team. Former Central (Iowa) College Head Coach Ron Schipper will coach the team for the ninth consecutive year.

Lukich is the second Greyhound selected to play in the Aztec Bowl. Defensive back Jarrod Pence played in the game back in 2002.
