MORAVIAN’S NEIL CANIGA NAMED TO COMMONWEALTH ALL-CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM

ANNVILLE, PA --- Senior Neil Caniga (Hampton, NJ/Voorhees HS) of the Moravian College men’s tennis team has been named to the Commonwealth All-Conference First Team for the third straight year announced Wednesday by the Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Corporation.

Caniga, in his third season at Moravian, has posted an 8-9 singles record this season with a 7-6 record at first singles. Caniga, who has been on the Commonwealth All-Conference First Team the last two seasons, also has a 4-7 record in doubles action with senior Sean Lynch (West Chester, PA/Henderson HS). Caniga has a career singles record of 30-21, which ties him for sixth in school history in singles victories.

Moravian is 4-9 overall and posted a 2-4 record in Commonwealth Conference action. The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, April 22nd in a non-conference match versus King’s College beginning at 1:00 p.m.
