MORAVIAN’S STEPHANIE SEAMAN NAMED TO MASCAC WEEKLY HONOR
ROLL
ANNVILLE, PA --- Senior forward Stephanie Seaman (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic
HS) of the Moravian College women’s basketball team has been named to
the Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Corporation Weekly Honor Roll for her
performance last week.
Seaman helped the nationally-ranked Greyhounds to a 2-1 record last
week including a 2-0 mark in Commonwealth Conference action. Seaman began
the week with 19 points, 11 rebounds and five steals in a 63-58 victory at Albright College
that was Moravian’s sixth win of the season when trailing at halftime. In the Greyhounds’ non-conference
game versus rival Muhlenberg College, Seaman was limited to 18 minutes
of action due to foul trouble but still contributed 12 points and five rebounds. Seaman finished
the week with 16 points, five rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals in a 66-54 victory
at Susquehanna University. For the week, Seaman averaged 15.7 points and
7.0 rebounds per game while shooting 33.3 percent (12 of 36) from the floor and 95.4 percent
at the foul line (21 of 22). Seaman has also moved into tenth all-time
at Moravian with 1,146 points after her 47 points this week, and she has 739 career rebounds,
just seven shy of third place all-time at Moravian.
Moravian, which is 17-4 overall and 8-2 in Commonwealth Conference action this season,
will return to action in a Commonwealth Conference game versus Lebanon Valley College on
Wednesday, February 8th at 8:00 p.m. in Johnston Hall.
