GREYHOUNDS RANKED FIFTH IN FIRST NCAA DIVISION III REGIONAL
RANKING OF 2005-06 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s basketball team has been ranked
fifth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the first NCAA Division III Regional Rankings released
late Wednesday.
The Greyhounds, who are 17-4 overall and 9-2 in Commonwealth Conference action, were
16-4 in regional action, the main basis for the rankings. Moravian has played several regionally
ranked teams this season, falling to #1 University of Scranton, 67-62, and #3 Muhlenberg
College, 66-59. The Greyhounds did defeat #2 Messiah College, 67-63, and Moravian will
play the Falcons again on February 11th in Grantham.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, February 11th in a Commonwealth Conference
game at Messiah College tipping off at 6:00 p.m. in Grantham.
