MORAVIAN’S JACQUI GRANDE & SAVANNAH BAYER RANKED IN NCAA FIELD HOCKEY STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Moravian College junior defender Jacqui Grande (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Regional HS) and junior forward Savannah Bayer (Newton, NJ/Newton HS) are ranked in the latest NCAA Division III Field Hockey statistics released Wednesday.

Grande, pictured at right, is tied for 11th in the nation in penalty strokes at 2.0, and Grande connected on both of her penalty stroke attempts this season. Bayer, pictured at left, is tied 26th in the country at 1.0 on penalty strokes, and she was one-for-three on penalty stroke opportunities.

Moravian is 28th in the nation in saves per game with an average of 9.95.

The Greyhounds completed its 2006 season with an overall record of 4-15.
