MORAVIAN MEN’S LACROSSE TEAM &
SENIOR T.J. HIRSCH RANKED IN LATEST NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College men’s lacrosse team
is ranked in one team category and one player is ranked in the third
2007 NCAA III Division men’s lacrosse statistical ranking
released Tuesday.
Senior midfielder T.J. Hirsch (Putnum Valley, NY/Walter
Panas HS) leads the nation in ground balls per game with
an average of 10.00, and Hirsch is currently ranked
21st in the nation in face-off winning percentage having won 63.2
percent (96 of 152) face-offs this season.
The Greyhounds are 22nd in face-off winning percentage at 58.9
percent (106 of 180).
Moravian is 0-8 on the season and is scheduled to return to action
on Wednesday, April 4th in a Middle Atlantic Conference match at
DeSales University beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Center Valley.
