GREYHOUNDS RANKED 1st IN FIRST NCAA DIVISION
III SOFTBALL REGIONAL POLL OF 2007 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College softball team is ranked
first in the East Region in the first NCAA Division III Regional
Rankings released Thursday.
The Greyhounds, who have an in-region record of 16-1, which is
what the poll is mainly based one, are followed by King’s
College, Montclair State (NJ) University, Ramapo College of New
jersey, Swarthmore College, Wilkes University, Arcadia University
and Ursinus College.
The Greyhounds, who are 20-4 overall and ranked fifth in the nation
in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III
Top 25 Poll, are slated to return to action on Thursday, April 19th
in a Commonwealth Conference doubleheader at Lebanon Valley College
in Annville beginning at 3:00 p.m.
