GREYHOUNDS REMAIN 1st IN SECOND NCAA DIVISION
III SOFTBALL REGIONAL POLL OF 2007 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College softball team remain
the top ranked team in the East Region in the second NCAA Division
III Regional Rankings released Thursday.
The Greyhounds, who have an in-region record of 21-2, which is
what the poll is mainly based one, are followed by Montclair State
(NJ) University, King’s College, Arcadia University, Ramapo
College of New Jersey, Ursinus College, Wilkes University, and Rutgers-Camden.
The Greyhounds, who are 27-5 overall and ranked 12th in the nation
in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III
Top 25 Poll, are slated to close out the 2007 regular season on
Saturday, April 28th in a Commonwealth Conference doubleheader at
Messiah College in Grantham beginning at 1:00 p.m.
