MORAVIAN'S JOSH HUNTER NAMED COMMONWEALTH
CONFERENCE BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
ANNVILLE,
PA --- Senior pitcher Josh Hunter (Palmerton, PA/Palmerton
HS) of the Moravian College baseball team has been named
the Commonwealth Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for his
performances last week.
Moravian posted a 4-1 record in its final week of the season last
week to finish 16-20 overall and 9-12 in the squad’s final
Commonwealth Conference season. The 16 wins under first-year head
coach Paul Engelhardt are the most since a 19-15
season back in 1997.
Hunter tossed a nine-inning shutout to earn a
5-0 victory over Elizabethtown College in his only action last week
