MORAVIAN MEN’S LACROSSE TEAM & SENIOR T.J. HIRSCH RANKED IN LATEST NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College men’s lacrosse team is ranked in one team category and one player is ranked in the seventh 2007 NCAA III Division men’s lacrosse statistical ranking released Tuesday.

Senior midfielder T.J. Hirsch (Putnum Valley, NY/Walter Panas HS) is fourth the nation in ground balls per game with an average of 9.06, and Hirsch is currently ranked 33rd in the nation in face-off winning percentage having won 58.3 percent (162 of 278) face-offs this season. Hirsch has a school record 145 ground balls this season in 16 matches.

The Greyhounds are 39th in face-off winning percentage at 54.3 percent (182 of 335).

Moravian finished the year at 2-14 overall and 2-8 in its final season in the Middle Atlantic Conference.
