MORAVIAN’S JENNY HACKLEMAN NAMED TO COMMONWEALTH CONFERENCE
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

ANNVILLE, PA --- Senior forward Jenny Hackleman (Arroyo Grande, CA/Rutgers Prep {NJ} HS) of the Moravian College women’s basketball team has been named to the Commonwealth Conference Women’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for her performance last week.

Hackleman averaged 13.0 points and 10.0 rebounds a game in her first three starts of the season after missing Moravian’s first five games with an injury. Hackleman had 14 points, two assists and two steals in a 87-85 overtime win over Drew University in non-conference action. Hackleman then had a career high 17 rebounds to go with ten points, four steals and three blocked shots in a 64-57 loss at fourth ranked The University of Scranton. During the game, Hackleman became just the sixth player in Moravian history to reach 600 career rebounds. Hackleman finished the week with her second straight double-double after a 15-point, 12-rebound performance in a 72-60 loss to Ursinus College in non-conference action. Hackleman has 621 career rebounds and needs just nine more to move into fifth in school history, and she also needs just 86 points to become the 18th player in school history with 1,000 career points.

Moravian, which is 5-4 overall and 1-1 in Commonwealth Conference action this season, will return to the court on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 in a non-conference game at Wilkes University beginning at 7:00 p.m.
