MORAVIAN’S KAYLA CARSON RANKED IN NCAA FIELD HOCKEY STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Moravian College sophomore forward Kayla Carson (Wyomissing, PA/Wyomissing HS) is ranked in the first NCAA Division III Field Hockey statistics released Wednesday.

Carson is tied for 35th in the nation in goals per game at 1.0.  She has scored three goals this season, including a game-winner in overtime to give the Greyhounds a 3-2 win versus DeSales University.

Moravian is currently tied for 30th in the nation in penalty corners per game at 9.67, tied for 38th in assists per game at 1.67 and tied for 50th in points per game at 5.67.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Wednesday, September 12th in a non-conference match versus rival Muhlenberg College on Betty Prince Field beginning at 4:00 p.m.
