MORAVIAN’S RECKENBEIL NAMED TO CENTENNIAL CONFERENCE WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

LANCASTER, PA --- Junior kicker Brian Reckenbeil (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville HS) of the Moravian College football team has earned a spot on the Centennial Conference Weekly Honor Roll for his performance in the Greyhounds’ 24-23 loss to Dickinson College last Saturday.

Reckenbeil tied a pair of school record and broke another in Moravian’s loss to Dickinson.  Reckenbeil tied the school marks for field goals in a game for the second time in his career with three and for points in a game with 11 for the fourth time in his career and second time in 2007.  Reckenbeil also became the school’s all-time leader in kick scoring with 133 points in just 23 ½ games as the starting place kicker.  He also owns the school career mark with 25 career field goals and is 16 extra-points away from breaking that career mark.  Reckenbeil made field goals of 28, 33 and 30 yards in the loss to Dickinson.

Moravian returns to action on Saturday, October 6th in a Centennial Conference game versus Gettysburg College with kickoff slated for 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field in Bethlehem.
