MORAVIAN’S KAYLA CARSON NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Sophomore forward Kayla Carson (Wyomissing, PA/Wyomissing HS) of the Moravian College field hockey team has been named the Landmark Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Carson helped the Greyhounds to a 2-0 record last week with three goals and an assist.  Carson netted a pair of goals including the game-winner in a 4-1 win at Philadelphia Biblical University, and then she had a goal, which was also a game-winner and an assist in a 2-1 home victory versus Ramapo College of New Jersey.  Carson leads Moravian in scoring with six goals and two assists for 14 points, and she has three game winning goals this fall.

Moravian, which is 5-4 overall, is scheduled to return to action on Thursday, October 4th in a Landmark Conference match versus The University of Scranton beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Betty Prince Field in Bethlehem.
