MORAVIAN’S TRACY FITZPATRICK HONORED AS ECAC DIVISION III SOUTH PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CAPE COD, MA --- Junior forward Tracy Fitzpatrick (Wantage, NJ/High Point Regional HS) of the Moravian College women’s soccer team has been named the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Division III South Women’s Soccer Players of the Week for her performance last week.

Fitzpatrick, who was also named the Landmark Conference Player of the Week, helped Moravian to a 3-0 record last week including a 9-1 win over Goucher College in Landmark Conference action for the team’s sixth straight win.

Fitzpatrick, who is Moravian’s leading scorer with ten goals and four assists, had two goals and four assists in three matches last week.  Fitzpatrick set up the only goal in a 1-0 victory over rival Muhlenberg College before netting two goals and adding an assist in a 4-1 win over Philadelphia Biblical University.  Fitzpatrick finished the week with two assists in the victory over Goucher.

Moravian, which is 11-2-1 overall, is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 13th in a Landmark Conference match at Susquehanna University beginning at 3:30 p.m.
