MORAVIAN WOMEN’S SOCCER TIED FOR TENTH IN MID-ATLANTIC REGION

KANSAS CITY, KS --- The Moravian College women’s soccer team is tied for tenth for a second straight week in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America/addidas Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings released Tuesday.

The Greyhounds, who are unbeaten in their last eight matches and 12-2-1 overall on the season, are tied with Rowan (NJ) University for the final spot in the regional poll.  Messiah College holds down the top spot while Landmark Conference rival The Catholic University of America is ranked sixth in the region.  Moravian and Catholic will meet in Washington, DC on Sunday, October 21st.

This marks the third time this season that Moravian has been tied for tenth in the regional poll.  The Greyhounds were in the same position last week and in the third poll of the year on September 18th.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, October 16th in a Landmark Conference match at The University of Scranton beginning at 7:00 p.m.  The winner of the match will clinch a postseason berth.
