MORAVIAN’S JENNA WALLACE NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior outside hitter Jenna Wallace (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic HS) of the Moravian College women’s volleyball team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Wallace helped Moravian to a 2-3 record in the final week of the regular season and was named to the All-Tournament Team for Pool B at the Messiah College Invitational.  Wallace hit .246 for the week with 87 kills and 27 errors in 244 attempts to go along with 57 digs, 12 service aces, nine blocks and four assists.  In Moravian's 3-1 loss to Elizabethtown College, Wallace became just the fifth player in school history to reach 400 kills in a season, now with 419, and in a 3-1 win over Lycoming College; Wallace became the fifth player in school history to surpass 1,200 career kills, now with 1,209.
