MORAVIAN’S RACHEL RADOCHA NAMED TO LANDMARK WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL ALL-CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM;
MARY KING HONORED AS ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

MADISON, NJ --- Senior outside hitter Rachel Radocha (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall HS) of the Moravian College women’s volleyball team has been named to the 2007 Landmark Conference Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Second Team announced Wednesday while freshman middle hitter Mary King (Paramus, NJ/Paramus HS) was named the Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year.

The duo has helped the Greyhounds to an 18-12 mark this season and a berth in the inaugural Landmark Conference Tournament.  Moravian, which is seeded fourth in the tournament, will travel to top seed and defending NCAA Division III National Champion Juniata College for a semifinal match on Wednesday, October 31st at 7:00 p.m. in Huntingdon.

Radocha, pictured at top right, is second on the Moravian squad with 305 kills and 292 digs to go along with 21 blocks, 18 assists and 24 service aces.  Radocha has 880 kills, 838 digs, 113 assists, 101 service aces and 98 blocks in 116 career matches for Moravian heading into the Landmark Conference Semifinals.

King, pictured at left, has contributed 272 kills, third on the squad, 68 digs, 114 blocks, 35 service aces and a team high .248 hitting percentage.  King, who was the Landmark Conference Player of the Week on September 10th, is one of just two Greyhounds to play in all 111 games this season.
