RYAN MILLER, MORAVIAN TEAM RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III MEN’S BASKETBALL STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Senior guard Ryan Miller (Easton, PA/Easton HS) and the Moravian College men’s basketball team are ranked in the tenth NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2007-08 season for games through March 2nd.

Miller is second in the nation in free throw percentage at 93.9 percent for the season, having made 62 of 66 at the line in 24 games.  Miller, who missed two games this season with an injury, is also 23rd in the country in three-point field goal percentage at 43.2 percent, and he is 48th in three-pointers per game at 2.8.  He has connected on 67 of 155 three-pointers this season, and Miller’s 158 career three-pointers have broken the previous school record of 150. 

The Greyhounds are ninth in free throw percentage this season at 76.9 percent, making 436 of 567 free throw attempts, and Moravian is 45th in three-point field goal percentage at 38.6 percent having connected on 203 of 526 three-point attempts. 

The Greyhounds, who are 18-8 overall and were 9-5 in Landmark Conference action, will host John Jay College on Thursday, March 6th in the first round of the 2008 NCAA Division III National Championships Tournament.  Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. in Johnston Hall.
