MORAVIAN’S KELLY SANTRY NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior infielder Kelly Santry (Hatboro, PA/Upper Moreland HS) of the Moravian College softball team has been named the Landmark Conference Softball Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Santry hit .750 in a pair of games for 23rd-ranked Moravian at the 12th Annual Salisbury Sea Gull Invitational.  She was six-for-eight during the week with three RBIs, three doubles and a run scored, and Santry had four putouts and three assists.

Santry was three-for-four with two doubles and two RBIs in Moravian's 4-2 victory over King's College.  She was then three-for-four with a double, RBI and run scored in a 7-5 loss to third-ranked Lynchburg (VA) College.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Thursday, March 13th in a non-conference home doubleheader as the Greyhounds host Baptist Bible College at 3:00 p.m. at Blue & Grey Field.
