RYAN MILLER, MORAVIAN TEAM RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III MEN’S BASKETBALL STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Senior guard Ryan Miller (Easton, PA/Easton HS) and the Moravian College men’s basketball team are ranked in the 11th NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2007-08 season for games through March 9th.

Miller, pictured at right, is second in the nation in free throw percentage at 94.1 percent for the season, having made 64 of 68 at the line in 25 games.  Miller, who missed two games this season with an injury, is also 38th in the country in three-point field goal percentage at 41.3 percent.  He has connected on 69 of 167 three-pointers this season, and Miller’s 160 career three-pointers have broken the previous school record of 150. 

The Greyhounds are ninth in free throw percentage this season at 77.4 percent, making 452 of 584 free throw attempts. 

The Greyhounds completed the 2007-08 season at 18-9 overall and were 9-5 in Landmark Conference action.  Moravian named the postseason for the first time in five years, appearing in the Landmark Conference Tournament and the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament for the first time in 25 years.
