MORAVIAN’S IAN BOX NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Sophomore Ian Box (Charlestown, MA/The Rivers School) of the Moravian College men’s tennis team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for his performance last week.

Box, pictured at right, led the Greyhounds to an undefeated week in Landmark Conference action as Moravian won two matches. Box earned an 8-1 victory with partner junior Keith Feinman (Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield HS) at first doubles, and then he won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles in a 7-2 win versus Susquehanna University in Moravian's first home match of the season.

Box and Feinman earned an 8-2 win while Box won 6-1, 6-1 in the Greyhounds' 9-0 sweep of the United States Merchant Marine Academy.  The victories improved Box to 5-1 in singles action and Box and Feinman to 4-3 in doubles this season.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, April 1st in a non-conference match at rival Muhlenberg College beginning at 5:00 p.m.
