MORAVIAN’S NATHANIEL TUSSEY & BLAIR MAGINNIS NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE
MEN’S TRACK & FIELD ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior hurdler Nathaniel Tussey (Perkiomenville, PA/Boyertown Area HS) of the Moravian College men’s outdoor track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Track Athlete of the Week while junior Blair Maginnins (Asbury, NJ/Warren Hills Regional HS) earned Field Athlete of the Week accolades for their performances last weekend at the non-scoring Muhlenberg College Invitational.

Tussey, pictured at right, won two events at the Muhlenberg Invitational, capturing the 110-meter high hurdles in an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 14.83 seconds and the 400-meter hurdles in an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 54.04 seconds. Tussey, who was named the Landmark Conference Track Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week, also ran a leg on Moravian's winning 4x400-meter relay squad that won with a time of 3:29.19.

Maginnis, pictured at left, won the shot put at the Muhlenberg Invitational with a toss of 14.61 meters (47 feet 11 1/4 inches).  Maginnis also placed fourth in the hammer throw with a toss of 38.91 meters (127 feet, eight inches), and he was sixth in the discus with a toss of 37.95 meters (124 feet, six inches).

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th at the Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic and on Saturday, April 12th at The College of New Jersey Invitational.
