MORAVIAN’S ANNA HEIM HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Sophomore pole vaulter Anna Heim (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown HS) of the Moravian College women’s outdoor track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for her performance last week at the non-scoring The College of New Jersey Invitational.

Heim won the pole vault at the non-scoring The College of New Jersey Invitational with a school record and NCAA Division III provisional qualifying height of 3.78 meters (12 feet, 4 3/4 inches).  Heim was also fifth in the javelin throw with a toss of 33.54 meters (110 feet).

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th as the team hosts the Greyhound Invitational at Rocco Calvo Field and Timothy Breidegam Track.
