MORAVIAN’S BETH PALY HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior infielder Beth Paly (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall HS) of the Moravian College softball team has been named the Landmark Conference Softball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week for her performance last week.

Paly continued her torrid hitting, extending her hitting streak to 12 straight games as the Greyhounds posted a 6-0 record last week including sweeps of rival Muhlenberg College and The Catholic University of America to remain undefeated Landmark Conference action. The 6-0 week pushed Moravian's winning streak to 15 games. 

Paly was ten for 21 last week with ten runs scored, two doubles, a triple and four RBIs.  She played four positions last week including shortstop, second base, catcher and designated player, and Paly had 11 putouts, three assists and an error in 15 chances in the field.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, April 15th in a Landmark Conference doubleheader at The University of Scranton at 4:00 p.m. in Scranton.
