MORAVIAN’S ANNA HEIM NAMED ECAC DIVISION III WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

CAPE COD, MA --- Sophomore pole vaulter Anna Heim (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown HS) of the Moravian College women’s outdoor track & field team has been named the ECAC Division III Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for her performance last week at the non-scoring Greyhound Invitational.

Heim, who was named the Landmark Conference Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week on Monday, captured the pole vault at the Greyhound Invitational in a school record, meet record and NCAA Division III automatic qualifying height of 3.85 meters (12 feet, 7 1/2 inches). Heim is scheduled to compete in the pole vault at the 113th Penn Relays on Thursday, April 24th.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday and Sunday, April 26th and 27th as the team hosts the 2008 Landmark Conference Championships at Rocco Calvo Field and Timothy Breidegam Track.
