RYAN MILLER, MORAVIAN TEAM RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III MEN’S BASKETBALL STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Senior guard Ryan Miller (Easton, PA/Easton HS) and the Moravian College men’s basketball team are ranked in the seventh NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2007-08 season for games through February 10th.

Miller is tied for third in the nation in free throw percentage at 94.4 percent for the season, having made 51 of 54 at the line in 20 games.  Miller is also tied for 45th in the country in three-point field goal percentage at 42.6 percent.  He has connected on 55 of 129 three-pointers this season, and Miller’s 146 career three-pointers are just shy of the Moravian career mark of 150. 

The Greyhounds are 16th in free throw percentage this season at 75.5 percent, making 358 of 474 free throw attempts, and Moravian is 33rd in three-point field goal percentage at 39.5 percent having connected on 174 of 441 three-point attempts.  The Greyhounds are also tied for 42nd in the country in winning percentage at 77.3 percent.

The Greyhounds, who are 17-5 overall and 8-3 in Landmark Conference action, will return to the court on Saturday, February 16th in a Landmark Conference game at Goucher College tipping off at 7:30 p.m. in Baltimore.  Moravian can clinch a berth in the Landmark Conference Tournament with a victory.
