RYAN MILLER, MORAVIAN TEAM RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III MEN’S BASKETBALL STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Senior guard Ryan Miller (Easton, PA/Easton HS) and the Moravian College men’s basketball team are ranked in the eighth NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2007-08 season for games through February 17th.

Miller is second in the nation in free throw percentage at 95.2 percent for the season, having made 59 of 62 at the line in 22 games.  Miller, who missed two games this season with an injury, is also 29th in the country in three-point field goal percentage at 43.3 percent.  He has connected on 61 of 141 three-pointers this season, and Miller’s 152 career three-pointers broke the school record of 150 this past Sunday. 

The Greyhounds are ninth in free throw percentage this season at 77.2 percent, making 409 of 530 free throw attempts, and Moravian is 40th in three-point field goal percentage at 39.1 percent having connected on 188 of 481 three-point attempts. 

The Greyhounds, who are 18-6 overall and 9-4 in Landmark Conference action, will close out the 2007-08 regular season in a Landmark Conference game versus The University of Scranton on Saturday, February 23th.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Johnston Hall.
