MORAVIAN’S JENELLE MIRRO HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S SOCCER
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Sophomore forward Jenelle Mirro (Bath, PA/Notre Dame HS) of the Moravian College women’s soccer team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Mirro netted her first career hat trick including the game-winning goal on just three shots to lead Moravian to a 7-0 victory over Goucher College in Landmark Conference action.  She is the third different Moravian player to score a hat trick this season.  Mirro and the rest of the Greyhounds were held off the scoreboard in a 0-0 double-overtime tie at rival Muhlenberg College earlier in the week.

Moravian, which is 8-5-1 overall, is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, October 15th in a non-conference match versus Cabrini College beginning at 4:00 p.m. in Bethlehem.
